Safe and Healthy Community

The City of Minnetonka is conducting a comprehensive review of its public safety operations and procedures. The scope of the project will include technical data, in-depth surveys and town hall listening sessions. The study will culminate in a city master plan to guide public safety services in support of Minnetonka’s Strategic Plan.

Citygate Associates, LLC conducted a police community engagement survey and listening session early in the year. The study will now move into one of its final phases as researchers analyze feedback along with the other data collected. The goal of public input is to continue the practice of community engagement and guide public safety services in support of Minnetonka’s strategic profile. A final report will be presented to the Minnetonka City Council in the spring of this year.
