When it comes to our community and the natural environment, few ideas are more important than resilience. And few are as urgent. Resilient Minnetonka is a pilot program offering education and resources, technical assistance and other incentives to help residents:

  • identify goals for resilience in their yards
  • overcome barriers
  • and seek funding to implement those goals.



PROGRAM OVERVIEW

WORKSHOPS & EDUCATION - See a listing of upcoming workshops, learning modules and videos.

SALES & INCENTIVES such as a tree & shrub sale, online native plant & seed sale, and compost bin sale with discounts for residents (while funding and stock last).

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE including free site consultations and residential buckthorn pick-up. Available by application and offered to eligible applicants while funding remains.

FUNDING OPTIONS from the city, local watershed districts, and the state. Available by application and offered to eligible applicants while funding remains.

RESOURCE LIBRARY - Find an extensive list of online resources and documents to help you learn more and take on projects for resilience.

Applications are accepted annually between Apr. 1 and Sept. 30.
