Property owner, applicant revise plans for Mills Twinhomes
Minnetonka Community Church, property owner, and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, applicant, have amended their proposal to construct 10 twinhome units near 3521 Baker Road. The property owner amended the plans to add more land to the development, eliminating the need for a comprehensive plan amendment request.
At the April 25 planning commission meeting, the main concern about the proposal was that it did not align with the city’s comprehensive plan. However, city staff and commission members expressed general support for the project.
The Minnetonka City Council is scheduled to consider the proposal at its regular meeting Monday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Read more about the proposal and amended staff recommendations in the May 6 agenda packet.
At its May 6 meeting, the Minnetonka City Council adopted resolutions and ordinances related to the development project at 3521 Baker Road, 3522 Elm Lane and two unassigned addresses. All comment on this project has ended.
