Lakes Drainage Study (Holiday, Wing, Rose and Birch Island)
In partnership with the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District (NMCWD), the city is beginning a study to evaluate the drainage conditions in the neighborhoods near Woodgate Pond, Lake Holiday, Wing Lake, Lake Rose and Birch Island Lake. The study will help the city better understand the area drainage and assist with the city’s preliminary design work needed to replace aging infrastructure in these neighborhoods.
Preliminary results of the study will be shared during an informational meeting planned for late spring 2025. Residents will receive notification of the meeting via mail.
Some of the surveying work may take place in residential backyards, driveways or near homes. Staff will be clearly identified, and will carry identification.
